Each month, we are delighted to introduce you to one of the members of Alkaloid Networks, a coworking space on the Eastside Atlanta Beltline.
What are you working on right now?
Charitable Travel Group is my non-profit organization. We support the travel needs of charitable causes such as fundraising cruises along with humanitarian and volunteerism travel.
I’m currently working on two workshops: The first is all about “Your Bucket List” Vision Board and the second offers instructions to anyone wanting to form their own non-profit.
What are you passionate about?
Faith, Family, Volunteering, Travel, Art, Reading and Ted Talks.
Why Alkaloid?
I had a desk in another building on the Beltline and it was no where near as nice and friendly as being here at Alkaloid. I love the atmosphere here; it presents a feel of work/life balance all in one. The common areas are decorated beautifully and lends itself to aid inspired thinking.
What is one thing that people don’t know about you?
After serving for 20 years, I recently retired from the military. I attend Georgia State University, taking classes in Social Entrepreneurship. My 5 year old twins, Ian and Isabella keep me busy along with a cat named Misty. I once rode a camel named Mickey in Egypt.
Where was the last place you traveled to for fun and why?
Meet more of our fabulously diverse members!
