Each month, we are delighted to introduce you to one of the members of Alkaloid Networks, a coworking space on the Eastside Atlanta Beltline.
What are you working on right now?
As Talent Buyer for Bowery South, I’m currently sending out performance offers for Saturn, our club in Birmingham, AL. Then I’m heading to Terminal West for our sold out Big Thief show. Their last record is one of my favorites of the last few years and I’ve never seen them perform.
What are you passionate about?
Music, of course, but also running, family and trying to be decent.
Why Alkaloid?
I love the flexibility of the space and the location.
What is one thing that people don’t know about you?
I didn’t make it on camera but as a middle schooler I was paid as an extra in Road House.
Tell us an interesting story.
More than a few years ago, my band used to practice across the Beltline from Alkaloid in the black box rehearsal spaces (the building that now holds Rathbun’s Steak). I remember the first apartments going up adjacent to the parking lot and having no idea how much this area would be different years later.
Where was the last place you traveled to for fun and why?
Yellowstone. I wanted to see if I was still scared of heights.
Meet more of our fabulously diverse members!
