What are you working on right now?

TurningArt is working to become the leading art consultancy for both artists and clients nationwide. We believe art has the power to improve everyday experiences and should be part of the spaces people interact with daily. Our team partners with businesses across industries – from real estate to health care – to curate and install artwork collections. We manage everything from artwork curation to installation while helping expand audiences for the artists we work with.
I lead TurningArt’s Account Management department, working closely with a team of Art Advisors to oversee our portfolio of rotating artwork programs and partnerships. I also lead our artist partner programming.
Who is your ideal client?
Our ideal client wants their space to feel thoughtful, inspiring, and aligned with their identity. Sometimes clients come in with a very clear vision, while others enjoy exploring creative directions together. In those conversations, we discuss the goals for the space and who will interact with the artwork every day. From there, TurningArt curates a collection that reflects the environment the client wants to create. Clients don’t need previous art experience. In fact, some of the most rewarding projects are when clients discover how much they care about art through the curation and art selection process.
What is a common misconception about your industry?
A common misconception is that art isn’t important in workspaces. In reality, thoughtfully curated artwork can transform almost any environment and meaningfully impact how people feel in a space. Businesses across industries are realizing that art improves how people experience their environment, whether that’s employees, patients, students, or visitors.

What is a big picture for your business?
TurningArt’s long-term goal is to make art more accessible and integrated into everyday spaces while supporting artists in sustainable ways. We want to continue expanding opportunities for artists while helping organizations create environments that feel inspiring and human-centered.
What is your superpower?
Many members of our team, including myself, are artists, so we approach our work with a deep respect for the creative process and always aim to put artists first. A key pillar of TurningArt’s mission is building trusted, long-term relationships with artists.
What is your favorite productivity tool?
Lately, I’ve been using Google Tasks. It’s a simple way to track my to-do list and stay organized throughout the week.
Why Alkaloid?
TurningArt has only been based at Alkaloid for a few months, but it’s already been a great experience. It’s a welcoming space where our team can focus, connect with other members at events, and easily book meeting rooms when needed. I looked at different coworking options, and Alkaloid stood out to me as a local Atlanta business. Katharine has cultivated a community that feels like more than just a coworking space. She’s made us feel right at home and helped our team get settled in. The location is also fantastic. It’s a treat to take a lunchtime walk on the Beltline and have so many great local spots nearby.
What advice would you give someone considering coworking?
Coworking has been a great way to build community while still having the flexibility of an independent workspace. It creates opportunities to meet people from different industries, exchange ideas, and feel more connected than you might working remotely.
Tell us one more thing about your experience at Alkaloid?
Alkaloid instantly felt like home for our Atlanta team. It’s a welcoming, inspiring place to work.
