At Alkaloid Networks, we believe work is better when people feel comfortable, connected, and at home. For many of us, that includes our pets.
Because we share this space with professionals from many different industries and backgrounds, bringing a pet to Alkaloid Networks is considered a privilege, not a right. Our goal is to create an environment where pet owners, animal lovers, and those who prefer a pet free workspace can all feel comfortable.
If your pet becomes a distraction to our community, we expect you to address the situation immediately. Our members are kind, respectful adults, and we trust everyone to approach these conversations with the same spirit.
Note: This policy applies to pets. Service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are addressed separately below.

Dogs may be walked through the building while entering and exiting the space and while going outdoors for bathroom breaks. They must remain on a leash anytime they are outside the office.

Every member experiences the workspace differently. Some love greeting a friendly dog in the hallway. Others may have allergies, anxiety around animals, or simply need a quiet environment to focus.
Being a good pet owner at Alkaloid Networks means being attentive to both your pet and your neighbors.
If another member expresses concern, we ask that you respond with understanding and work together to resolve the issue quickly.
Alkaloid Networks reserves the right to suspend or revoke pet privileges at any time if a pet’s behavior negatively impacts the community or creates safety concerns.
Because repeated disruptions rarely begin with a single isolated incident, we may determine that a pet is simply not a good fit for the workspace, even after one significant event.
Our coworking community is designed for productive work, not behavioral training.
From time to time, Alkaloid Networks may host pet friendly community events such as adoption fundraisers, member pet introductions, or other special gatherings. These events operate under separate guidelines and are intended to bring our community together while supporting local animal organizations.
Alkaloid Networks welcomes service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
A service animal is a dog that has been individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability. Service animals are not considered pets and are not subject to the pet approval process or many of the requirements outlined in this Pet Policy.
Service animals must remain under the handler’s control at all times. In accordance with Georgia law and the ADA, a service animal should be harnessed, leashed, or tethered while in common areas unless the handler’s disability prevents the use of these devices or their use would interfere with the animal’s work. In those situations, the handler must maintain control of the service animal through voice commands, signals, or other effective means.
Handlers are responsible for:
If a service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it, or if the animal is not housebroken, Alkaloid Networks may require the animal to be removed from the premises, consistent with applicable law.
